CAST offers recommendations to the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers (PARCC) to improve its proposed accommodations for students with disabilities who take PARCC’s large-scale assessment. The accommodations in question concern writing.

CAST is working as a part of the web infrastructure team (collaborating with the Director of Digital Infrastructure and Virtual Community and the Director of Operations and Communication for the REVISE Center) to advise and consult on creating tools for the AISL Equity Resource Center, specifically, the materials and products created and posted on the AISL website.

When I first met David Rose, while I was working at WGBH as head of its Media Access Group and National Center for Accessible Media, I knew that we would be sharing our mission and values in tangible and productive ways. This study will investigate the contributions of youth's (grades 7-12) participation in (or aversion to) outdoor recreation on their developing STEM identities and considerations of careers in STEM.

The Young Adult Advisory Board will support and inform the process of reenvisioning the UDL Guidelines through an equity lens by centering and amplifying the experiences and perspectives of young people. The Board is comprised of young adults ages 18-22 who are eager to share their ideas for how to create more equitable learning environments through the dimensions of race and ethnicity, gender and sexuality, socioeconomic background, language, disability, and/or citizenship and nationality.
