Description
Join the Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems (CITES) team for this two-part virtual workshop and receive a hands-on walk-through of the CITES Framework Leadership Practices. The CITES framework offers district leaders a systematic and data-based decision-making process to be used as part of a continuous improvement process. Effective technology leadership promotes the development of a balanced and inclusive technology infrastructure that examines the implementation of assistive technology (AT), educational technology (EdTech), and information technology (InfoTech).
Part 1 of our workshop demonstrates the CITES framework as a learning tool and concludes with an invitation to use the framework to begin working toward inclusive technology systems. Part 2 offers attendees the opportunity to build community and share celebrations, barriers, and lessons learned after using the CITES framework in context.
Only those in attendance for Part 1 will receive an invitation to register for Part 2. Part 1 of the workshop will be recorded and available on our website about a week after the live event. The Part 2 workshop session will not be recorded. Depending on interest and capacity, the CITES team may run multiple Part 2 sessions.
