CAST Co-Founder to Give Keynote at UDL-Themed Conference in Dublin
Date:
Saturday, March 7, 2015
David Rose, co-founder of CAST, will deliver one of two keynote addresses later this month at the annual Association for Higher Education Access and Disability (AHEAD) conference in Dublin, Ireland.
This year’s conference theme is Universal Design for Learning: A License to Learn. Rose, along with co-founder Anne Meyer and their colleagues at CAST, first coined the term Universal Design for Learning nearly 20 years ago, and articulated its principles and guidelines in subsequent years. UDL is now at the forefront of an international reform effort to make education more inclusive and effective at all levels.
The conference, organized with support from the UK-based Learning Inclusivity Network + Know-how (LINK), takes place March 19 and 20 at Dublin Castle Conference Center.
