The CAST UDL Implementation process consists of concentric circles of understanding supported by the UDL Guidelines and the UDL framework. The center of the circle is the need for change which leads to the pre-phase of Explore. Phase 1 is Prepare, Phase 2 is Integrate, Phase 3 is Scale, Phase 4 is Optimize. All phases lead to the goal of Expert Learning.
CAST’s UDL Implementation Planning is designed to address the unique needs of your school, district or organization and affect systems-level change.

Our team will work with you to develop a robust plan that includes the right combination of CAST’s Professional Learning Services, resources and support. This may include:
- Interactive in-person and virtual workshops, Lesson Design Studios, and Instructional Rounds for teachers, paraprofessionals and other school-based staff.
- Hands-on, job-embedded professional learning to support Instructional Coaches in leading UDL application at the classroom level.
- Support for education leaders to gather and analyze data, set goals, and design their own multiyear implementation plans.
