Jenne Accurso Bryant

As the Director of Grants, Jenne is responsible for the management of federal and private grant and contract activities at CAST, including proposal preparation and submission, financial reporting, budget revisions, compliance, and contracting. As an integral member of the CAST finance team, Jenne also assists in the overall budget process for the organization including planning, financial analysis, and collaboration with other key members of CAST.  

Prior to joining CAST, Jenne had over two decades of experience in research administration at the University of Kansas (KU) including 17 years at the Juniper Gardens Children’s Project (JGCP). Jenne developed a deep and comprehensive understanding of what high quality research support looks like from her work experiences at KU. During her tenure at JGCP, Jenne oversaw the day-to-day operations of the research center, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning. She led comprehensive organizational planning and financial reporting efforts, providing strategic direction and program management. A key component of Jenne’s role at JGCP was to facilitate the development of internal policies and processes, while supporting investigators throughout the lifecycle of grant proposals and awards from conception to closeout. Jenne also assisted investigators in meeting sponsor reporting and ensuring compliance with all relevant federal, state, and university research regulations.
