Janet Gronneberg
As the Proposal Development & Relations Manager at CAST, Janet is focused on driving funding efforts aligned to the successful execution of CAST’s strategic plan and mission.
She works closely with CAST project teams to identify and champion fundraising efforts and cultivate key strategic partnerships. Externally, she enjoys making the case for CAST and UDL with corporate, foundation and federal funders committed to reforming education “until learning has no limits.”
Prior to joining CAST, Janet was a college research and writing tutor for six years working with a caseload of students with learning and attention issues, many of whom she worked with throughout their four years of college. Wanting to make an impact beyond the individual students she tutored, Janet returned to graduate school and earned a M.Ed. with a focus on organizational leadership. Prior to her work as a tutor, Janet worked in the private sector for Bain & Company for ten years in the training and development group.
My Inspiration
Carol Dweck’s work on growth mindset is foundational to how we approach teaching and learning. I wish I had read her work before raising my own kids!
