  • Shortly after the year 2000 kicked off, I found myself working at a small company that provided educational content and digital solutions to the K12 market. In my first week on the job, David Rose, Skip Stahl, and Chuck Hitchcock walked into our little office (in the recently renovated Schraft Center). I had no idea who they were, but for the next several hours, I watched and listened intently as they talked about how print-based learning materials were a huge barrier to lots of learners who could not get access to the material and also learned differently than the then standard "average child" approach that dominated how schools worked.
