From our Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework to our educational tools and resources, CAST leverages expertise in the learning sciences to expand access and opportunity for all.
It only takes one person embracing UDL to create waves of change in learners’ lives.
For over 40 years, CAST has been dedicated to leading, inspiring, and bringing together a community that supports educators across all learning environments. Our advocacy efforts have helped embed Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles into federal, state, and local education policies nationally and internationally.
Additionally, we have created and hosted centers to support school districts in providing accessible materials and technologies, establishing the National Instructional Materials Accessibility Standard (NIMAS), and guiding capacity-building in assistive technology through the Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems (CITES).
CAST continues to lead the way in inclusive education because learners everywhere deserve real connections and effective education.
