UDL Goal Setter Tool

The UDL Goal Setter Tool helps you set clear, focused learning goals that work for all learners. Clear goals, distinct from the means for attaining them, enable you to offer students varied pathways to learning and scaffolds to support areas of need that do not bear directly on the learning goal.

TES Mentor Icon The Goal Setting Mentor offers related background information and models to clarify, explain, and demonstrate the concepts and their implementation.

  1. Select or enter standard/benchmark

  2. Determine the goal's main focus & core instructional components, then the variable instructional components and possible scaffolds.

  3. Restate goal if necessary

  4. Save, share, or transfer goal to another application
