FAQ #1. What is my e-mail used for?
When you register on TES, we ask that you use a valid e-mail address. This
is considered your "username". If you do not want to register with
your e-mail adress, you will not receive e-mail notifications (newletters, TES
Community discussions, Professional Development, TES-related events or conferences,
etc.) and you will not receive your password by e-mail using.
When you register, you can elect to receive or to not receive e-mail. You can
login anytime to change this setting in the Profile & Preferences
area under My TES.
If you become a member of a TES Community, you can select to receive (or not
receive) e-mails from your TES Community forums (see FAQ #2). You can change
this settting anytime by logging-in and modifying your preferences in your TES
community.
If you do not wish to use your e-mail address to registration, that's OK!
Just remember to login with the "username" you registered with and
the password.
FAQ #2. How do I change my setting on receiving e-mail notification of postings to my TES community forums?
The default option is to send e-mail notification of new postings to the forums.
If you do not want to receive e-mail notifications,
please login to My TES and edit your profile in each
community that you are a member of that you do not want to receive e-mail from.

Go to "My TES": http://www.cast.org/teachingeverystudent/mytes/

Login. Enter your e-mail (the e-mail you are receiving forum notifications from) and your password. (You
can request your password from "My TES" if you have forgotten it.)

Once you have logged into TES, go to "My TES Communities":

Click the link labelled "Edit my profile in this community." for each community you want to modify

Select "No" for the option "Notify me by email when new postings are submitted to this community forums"

Click the Submit button to set your preferences.
