Ada Sullivan was appointed President of CAST in January 2005.  A key member of management team since 2000, Ms. Sullivan began as Director of Product Development and became Chief Resource Development Officer in 2002.

Ms. Sullivan brings more than 25 years of experience in education, technology development, marketing, and sales to her senior management role at CAST. Most recently, Ms. Sullivan was a Marketing Product Manager for Houghton Mifflin Company's School Division, bringing new reading and instructional technology products to market.

Before joining Houghton Mifflin, Ms. Sullivan was co-owner, Vice President, and General Manager of Landmark Learning, a video development group that produced Literacy Place videos for Scholastic, Inc., and Channel R.E.A.D. for Houghton Mifflin. In her former role as Vice President of Hoffman Educational Systems, Ms. Sullivan was responsible for product development and sales and product training.

For more than a decade, Ms. Sullivan worked in elementary schools in Dade County, Florida, and San Mateo, California, as a classroom teacher and educational media coordinator.  During that time, she served as the writer and studio teacher for an award-winning teacher training television series.

Ms. Sullivan holds a master's degree in Elementary Education from Barry College and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Florida State University.
