Anita joined CAST in 2007 as the Administrative Assistant for the Accessible Instructional Materials (AIM) Consortium where she supports AIM staff at CAST as well as the 15 AIM member states who are working together to promote and improve academic outcomes for students with print disabilities. She provides adminstrative support with contracts and agreements as well as planning and facilitating all teleconferences, meetings and conferences.

She brings 15 years of experience as a Senior Technical Writer to her position. Anita designed and developed user and technical instructional materials and online help documentation for high tech firms including PictureTel, Computervision, Osram Sylvania, and Digital Equipment Corporation. Her varied background includes time as an elementary school teacher and as a registered real estate broker. Anita holds a B.S. in Education from the University of Southern Maine.
